Ralph McArdell, Director
Prior to forming Dibase, Ralph was the senior software developer for Hodos Limited, a small company specialising in computer based training and simulation. At Hodos he was the major developer working on their award winning part task train simulator, and several other projects. Between the demise of Hodos and the formation of Dibase Ralph worked on a freelance basis for several of the Hodos customers at the time of its collapse, working on further digital video applications for CBT and train simulation. Before starting at Hodos Ralph had worked on educational software development and systems management for the Inner London Education Authority (ILEA) at its educational computing centre (ILECC). In 1983 Ralph produced a prototype for a commercial laundry stock control system for use with bar-coded garments.
Ralph is a member of and is a volunteer expert in C++ for the AllExperts Q&A service.
